Education is the path to prosperity.
 

The purpose of education is to prepare students to learn and acquire new skills to be of value to the community and be successful in order to prosper and have a good life. 

The purpose of our education system is to:

• Help us understand about our life and the environment we live in.

• Prepare us to become productive members of society and be successful in life by building a better future for ourselves and our families 

Education 1.0 — Failing to provide job opportunities

It is evident from the amount of global poverty and unemployment that the current education, say Education 1.0 is failing in this mission.  Even in the USA, a powerful and one of the richest countries in the world, despite paying hundreds of thousands of dollars, students are barely finding jobs.  

Furthermore  the increasing gap between the 1%,  who control over 50% of the global resources,  and the 99% is ample evidence that Education 1.0 only helps a small minority of the global population.

Therefore we might say that the current education systems is failing us because:

• It is no longer affordable by the majority, most students come out with huge debts with fewer prospects of employment   

• It is no longer student centric but becoming employer centric and thus benefits the employers much more than the students.

And we need additional help and support in order to prosper in today's hi tech environment

We need GREAT@ Education2.0.

• To learn about life, about ourselves, about our universe, the world we live in and our relationships.

• To learn the skills for applying this knowledge for our benefit.

• To get access to resources needed in the pursuit of prosperity.

• We need the help and support of our community in our mutual pursuit of prosperity.
