Both fields also feature a standard clickable eye-symbol to view or hide the password texts.

Below these fields is an uneditable grey text box labelled “password requirements”. This text box includes an uneditable automated check list for password strength that mentions:

  • At least 8 characters

  • One upper case letter

  • One number

Below this list, there is an editable check box with the agreement label “ I agree to the Terms and conditions and privacy policy”, that the user must check-mark to proceed to payment section.

User Action:

The user sets a password fulfilling the three criteria mentioned. The user can check if all password strength criteria have been fulfilled by seeing each criteria text turning green and showing a green tick mark as shown in the image. If not, the user must change password till it shows all criteria fulfilled. Then the user repeats the password.

Step 04: Payment Processing

UI: On the new page - “checkout - Great Academy”, it has the same course enrollment heading as earlier, and a smaller font below it states the purpose of this page and action required from the user: “Please fill in your details and complete the payment. After successful payment, you will receive your course credentials, important URLs, and class details via email”. The user can also see part of the invoice at first glance. And upon scrolling, they can see that the billing details on the left that have been autofilled using the previous user sign-up information, and an additional information section labelled “order notes”, and a blank text field with placeholder text that says, “Notes about your order e.g. special notes for delivery”. Furthermore, there is a  bill on the right side showing the price of  the course added to cart, how many of this course has been to cart (which is listed as 1 and cannot be changed), and the sum total. It also gives four options for payment type, only one of which can be selected:

  1. Direct bank transfer

  2. Cash Payment

  3. Bizum

  4. Credit Card

Below this list, there is a large Great academy logo, followed by a notice that states, “Your personal data will be used to process your order, support your experience throughout this website, and for other purposes described in our privacy policy”. The Last element of this page is a dark green rectangular button with white text that reads “place order”.

User Action: The user scrolls down the page, rechecks the autofilled billing detail fields to confirm accuracy and proceeds to select one of the payment options (cash payment in this case).

Then the user scrolls down and clicks on the “place order” button. This action greys out the page elements and shows a buffering symbol for 5-7 seconds, after which user is taken to the page “Home - Lifebahn”
